Enrollment Information
All waitlist applications for Pluto Day Care are managed through the Waterloo Region OneList system. We do not maintain separate waitlists at our centres. When spaces become available, families are contacted based on program availability and their child's position on the OneList waitlist.
General Enrollment Information
As a participant in the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program, demand for childcare spaces at Pluto Day Care is very high. Currently, families can expect an average wait of approximately two years from the time they join the Waterloo Region OneList before a space may become available.
We strongly encourage families to apply as early as possible. Enrolling during the infant stage often provides the greatest opportunity for long-term care, as children enrolled in our infant programs typically transition internally into our toddler and preschool programs. Because most toddler and preschool spaces are filled by children already attending Pluto Day Care, openings in these age groups are less frequent and can be more difficult to obtain.
